Giganting "hole" near Belchatow in central Poland. It's a mining site for brown coal. The chimneys are 300m tall(!), the machine in low right part of the photo is gigantic "crane" for digging and transporting coal - it should give you some impression on the size of the site.

...there is also a 300 m chimney in my city, you onlny get an impression of it's size when you try to go there but it doesn't get bigger as you approach
